I’m so excited to introduce the Australian Nature Study Guide to you. It’s finally available for you to purchase. As a small thank you for trying the guide, I’d like to bless you with a FREE bonus lesson on the ACT’s floral emblem. Included in the free download is a colouring page and two Floral State Emblem notebook pages. You’ll receive the link along with your downloads for the guide and notebook pages.
But that’s not all I’m offering for free. If you choose to subscribe to our monthly newsletter you’ll receive a FREE Temperature and Rain Chart for 2018 which includes twelve monthly charts on which to record rain and daily temperatures. I aim to offer a FREE resource with each newsletter along with nature study prompts and inspiration in an effort to enhance outdoor explorations with your family.
I know you’re all excited to start this nature study journey with your children so in an effort to wet our feet I thought we’d start with a fun 5 Day Backyard Mini-beast Challenge starting 22nd – 26th January 2018. It’s a simple, manageable challenge which will encourage the children to explore their backyards or parks.
You’ll receive FREE challenge prompts and Backyard Mini-beast notebook pages for Kinda and advanced students along with a Backyard Mini-beast Nature List for older children on the 22nd January. If you wish to participate, make sure you’re subscribed to receive the challenges and notebook pages.
I’m GIVING AWAY three nature book PRIZES after the challenge. To enter the draw either join our Facebook Group, Nature Science for Aussie Families, or our very own Forum here on the website and share your outdoor explorations and activities with us. You can also participate on Instagram by tagging your posts with #backyardminibeastchallenge. I’ll see you there!
So! How did the guide come about? It started as a nagging thought at the back of my head that wouldn’t go away. It eventually became a dream and that’s where I left it until I mentioned it to Jo who promptly announced herself as my research assistant. She has been relentless in driving me to complete this project and I’m grateful for it, as without her, this guide would not be a reality today. She has been such an encouragement and support with her time and talents. Thank you, Jo! I’d also like to thank Robert, the man behind the scenes, who has done a phenomenal job with the website. Thank you, Robert!
Ready? Set! Go! and get your guide.
PS: I’d love to know your thoughts and how you get on with the guide so keep in touch and please consider writing a review when you’ve had time to explore the guide. I sure would appreciate it.
Hi! I’m Marie and I’ve been home educating for ten years. I’ve shared most of my life with my awesome husband. We live on the land with four of our five children who enjoy helping dad and raising dogs, calves, ducks, goats and pigs. Two of our daughters have graduated so far and we’re blessed to be the grandparents of a precious granddaughter. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to live this life with them and I’m counting each second as precious. In those rare moments when there’s time to breath and cappuccinos and chocolate are bliss, I love to read, walk and journal. Above all, I love my Saviour and exploring His exquisite creation brings me much joy.
